Alyssa has been waiting all summer to go to preschool. Sean and I went to check on the girls before we went to bed and Alyssa sat up in her bed, looked at us and said "I just knew it was time for me to go to school!" Sean and I looked at each other and laughed. We told her it was still late at night and she had to get some more sleep before it was time. When my alarm went off at 7:00, she flew into my room already dressed in her clothes she wanted to wear on her first day. Sean called as we were eating breakfast and said he was coming home early to bring her to school with Emma and I. Alyssa was more than thrilled to have her daddy walk her into school. It was hard on Emma to see her sister having fun at school. She wanted to stay with her and play. Alyssa didn't shed any tears and I'm proud to say I didn't ether. She only goes for three hours a day and it's a great church preschool with two great teachers. After we dropped her off we went home and played with Emma, she loved the one on one attention that she got. Time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to go pick Alyssa up. She had a great day and already had a few "best friends" she wanted to invite over for play dates. Here is one more picture of our big girl!!
