Hello all, we decided to start this blog so our family and friends could follow along on our adventures. We are a U.S. Coast Guard family originally from Michigan. We are presently stationed in San Juan Puerto Rico. We are transferring to Cordova Alaska later this year. We are all very excited to get to Cordova. We have had a good time here in Puerto Rico but this move is an opportunity, career wise, that could not be passed up. My Space is a bit intimidating for some of our family so we decided to use this blog instead. It will be a dramatic change living in Cordova after living in San Juan. While we think Puerto Rico is beautiful, living here has solidified what we already suspected. We're a flannel shirt and camp fire family rather than a swimsuit and hot beach type.
